An Ordinance of the City of Badger, Minnesota Amending City Ordinance No. 60 Entitled “Garbage”

 

The City Council of Badger Ordains:

 

            That Section 2 General Regulations is hereby amended to add Subd 5.

 

                        Subd. 5.  It shall be unlawful for any non-resident of City of Badger to transport refuse into the City of Badger to deposit into any of its containers, dumpsters, or refuse receptacles any refuse at all from outside of the City.  Every person violating any section, subdivision, paragraph, or provision of this chapter when he performs an act verified prohibited or declared unlawful or fails to act when such failure is thereby prohibited or declared unlawful and upon conviction thereof shall e punished as for a misdemeanor except as otherwise stated in any provisions thereof.

 

                        The provisions of this amendment shall be guilty of a petty misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine, by not more than five hundred and no/100 ($500.00) dollars or imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days or both.

 

Passed and adopted by the City Council, the 8th day of May, 1991.

 

The effective date of this ordinance is the date of this publication, May 16, 1991.
